Training in Robotics

In communication, robots—including social, educational, and collaborative models—bridge the gap between technical data and public understanding, increasing engagement and interest. In audio-visual production, robotic arms and drones enable precise, high-definition cinematography for complex or dangerous scenes, expanding creative possibilities. These technologies offer hands-on learning, improve safety by replacing humans in hazardous environments, and foster critical, creative thinking, making them crucial for modern science communication and immersive media.

Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is a computer engineer with over 30 years of experience. Insight conducts research on the use of robotics for medical applications within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. Insight has a whole Division for Engineering Applications. Mark also provides event support for sessions all about robotics at the World Science Festival. We also provide consulting services in Robotics.

Our staff are members of Australian Science Communicators and the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts (AACTA). Insight is a member of Experience Gold Coast.
