Training in Robotics
Robotics is vital for transforming complex, abstract scientific concepts into tangible, engaging, and interactive experiences. In communication, robots—including social, educational, and collaborative models—bridge the gap between technical data and public understanding, increasing engagement and interest. In audio-visual production, robotic arms and drones enable precise, high-definition cinematography for complex or dangerous scenes, expanding creative possibilities. These technologies offer hands-on learning, improve safety by replacing humans in hazardous environments, and foster critical, creative thinking, making them crucial for modern science communication and immersive media.
Below is a list of the qualifications that we offer in Robotics
Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Electives on Robotics) (coming soon)
We also provide consulting services in Robotics.
Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is a computer engineer with over 30 years of experience. Insight explores robotics for medical applications within our own research. Insight has a whole Division for Engineering Applications. Mark also provides event support for sessions all about robotics at the World Science Festival. We also have a gallery of some of the photos and videos that we have captured on Our Research and Robotics.
Training is organized by the Insight Training College. Insight is based within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct. Insight CEO, Dr Mark Griffin, is a committee member with Engineers Australia and Australian Science Communicators. Our staff are members of the Australian Academy of Cinema Television Arts (AACTA). Insight is a member of Experience Gold Coast.
