This process allows policymakers to make informed decisions, optimize resource management, and adapt to changing demographics or climate threats. Ultimately, M&E ensures accountability to stakeholders, improves policy effectiveness, and protects both ecosystem health and human well-being by facilitating, for instance, informed urban planning and disaster risk reductions.
